Two years ago Dr. Applegate started using surgical loupes (high powered microscopes coupled with a halogen light). The loupes are designed to allow him to see every detail of the tooth. Whether he is looking at a cavity, crack, or filling preparation, he is confident that he can see every last detail.

Seven years ago Dr. Applegate realized that digital video would help him diagnose cavities when they are just forming and before they get too big. Small restorations are more conservative, less costly and always better for you!

Applegate Dentistry is the only dental practice in Northern Kentucky who has a Cerec machine. This high-tech equipment makes it possible to produce high quality porcelain crowns, tooth-colored fillings, and veneers in our office while you wait. Best of all, it only takes one visit.
