This patient had an old silver filling in an upper molar. There is recurrent decay evidenced by the dark grey discoloration of the right half of the tooth. In order to repair the tooth we removed the filling, cleaned out the decay, and replaced the missing tooth structure with a partial crown. The result is a strong tooth, beautiful, and not decay.
